Summer is here and there is a lot going on in the shoppe .  Be sure to check the website often as we update our classes and latest news at the shoppe.  We have a variety of quilting and machine embroidery project classes set for July and August and we hope that you will come in and join the fun.  I will be attending the Brother Annual Conference in August and will come home with the information on the “Dream Machine” that will be previewed at the conference. We will keep you updated on the website or  you can   “Follow the Dream” at  www.brother-usa.com/dreamteam.

Come in the shoppe and see the changes that are going on. I have become a dealer for Floriani stabilizers and threads. If you haven’t tired these products you are in for a real treat!  These are the best stabilizers on the market and they do not “gum” up your machine needle. Try them and let me know what you think!

CUSTOMER APPRECIATIONLUNCHEON HOSTED BY LISA & RICH SPAULDING.

Lisa and Rich do a great deal of the long arm quilting that you have admired at the shoppe.  They will be in town from Ohio on Thursday, August 14^th from 11:30-1:30. They want to take this opportunity to thank their current customers and meet any of you who may be interested in meeting them and discussing their long arm quilting services. Please plan to bring a friend and attend this fun free luncheon.  A sign up sheet is in the shoppe so we will know how much food to plan on. Please put this date on your calendar and plan to come in and meet them. They are a wonderful and talented couple and they would love to meet you.  We understand that they are driving down so if you have any completed tops plan to bring them in and save on shipping.

 The Annual Customer Appreciation Auction will be held on Saturday, August 2, from 11AM-2PM.  This is my chance to thank all my loyal customers and your chance to spend those blue or pink LUCKY BUCKS you have been collecting all year. If you have never been to the auction, you won’t want to miss this one. Last year we had over 100 items for bid.  You bid using your “LUCKY BUCKS” as cash and take home the goodies without spending another dime. Don’t have tons of LUCKY BUCKS, some of the items come with additional “BUCKS” to spend.  Come and join the fun. 

THE 9th ANNUAL FLAMINGO RUN SHOP HOP is almost here. Plan to attend on July 24, 25 and/or the 26, 2008.  The hours for all six shops will be Thursday the 24^th from 9AM-6PM, Friday, July 25^th 9AM-6PM and Saturday, July 26^th 9AM-5PM.  Registration has started so come in and pick up your passport and charm bracelet.  Passports are now $9.00 . We still have spaces left on the bus for the four southernmost shops so call us for details. The six shops are from Keepsake Quilt Shoppe to Once Upon a Quilt in Ft. Lauderdale. You are sure to have a fantastic time this year so come and join the fun!!!

There is a sign-up sheet in the shoppe for the next BOM beginning in September or October. It will be a Florida style tropical quilt called Tropical Paradise with many beautiful new batiks. Ask in the shoppe for more details.
